Reports have surfaced that Ring Video Security Camera allowed its Ukraine-based research and development team to access a data folder that contained every video created by a Ring camera globally, including ones captured within customers’ homes, in spite of its pledge to increase customers’ security.  The team reportedly had the ability to view and download the videos.  Ring apparently felt security encryption of videos would make the company “less valuable,” because of the expense  of security and lost revenue opportunities due to restricted access.  If you have a Ring Security Video camera and are concerned about violation of your privacy and security, The Hannon Law Firm, LLC can help.
