On November 1, 2018, Capital Forensics had people’s private information stolen from it. The data stolen includes names, financial account numbers and social security numbers. Capital Forensics manages the persona data collected financial investment, stock broker, and wealth management companies. If you are a customer of LPL Financial, or your financial advisor or stock broker uses LPL, your data was among the data potentially stolen or breached. Other customers whose financial advisor or stock broker uses Capital Forensics also were breached.
