On September 8, 2017, The Hannon Law Firm, LLC filed a a class action against Equifax, Inc. on behalf of people residing in Colorado whose Personally Identifiable Information (PII) was held by Equifax from at least mid-May 2017 through July 2017.

The suit follows the public acknowledgement by Equifax that as many as 143 million American’s personal information, including names, social security numbers, birth dates, addresses, and the numbers of some drivers licenses were accessed in a data breach – one of the largest data breaches on record.
